Every year, a National Science Fair is organised by the French Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation with events all over France. For three years, Pangloss Labs has organised an event as part of this.
This year in 2018, Pangloss Labs is organising for the first time, a “Science Village”. This means that we gather scientific experts, academics, entrepreneurs for a one day event in October at a great place in Pays de Gex, Pays Bellegardien.
Update: for this year’s program, please click here.
The national main topic this year is “Changing your mind about preconceived ideas”
Sub-themes have been suggested as well:
- Gender Equality
- Europe & International
- Climate Change and Sustainable Development
- Society Issues
- Innovative Mediation Tools and Techniques
- Scientific News
- Industry 4.0
- History of Science and Technology
We expect plenty of activities to take place on October 13th, including:
- Scientific films
- Demonstrations and stands (with scientific experts)
- Accredited “Fête de la Science”projects
The program is being put in place between now and October. Our “Science Village” will be celebrated as the closing ceremony for the activities in the Department of Ain. During the day, we will showcase new projects in ethical fashion, retro-gaming, smart buildings, bioethics and augmented humanity.
Our Science Fair will take place on October 13th.
As it will be during “Pink October”, we will also cover the cause “fighting cancer”.
