Thanks to local firm Terabee, we were donated a Zevatech PM570 Pick and Place machine – an industrial machine for assembling surface mount electronic circuit boards.  It came in to our lab just before lockdown, and we have finally started to look at it.  It’s most likely we will retrofit it with OpenPNP, a modern open source Pick and Place machine control software, but there is a lot of understanding to gain of how the machine works before then.
